Fun but very easy

So I just completed 50% of the game. After killing 2 bosses and not upgrading my character or his gear at all I can say: this is really easy to win at.

Bosses are especially easy!? Yep, bosses can be stuffed into the corner and mashed over and over; unable to do anything about it.

Dont get me wrong, for .99 its a fun game, but its easy and its short. So far I have found no reason to even need to upgrade my gear because there has been no ramping up of difficulty as I progressed (50% complete).
